New Horizons Integrated Learning Manager is a unique offering that integrates three different learning methods into one learner-focused portal. It leverages the power of the Internet to support all learning needs in a targeted and effective way.

The Integrated Learning Manager combines the most comprehensive instructor-led classroom training available in nearly 270 learning centers in more than 50 countries with an impressive library of more than 1,200 self-paced Online ANYTIME courses as well as Online LIVEi classes over the Web (including live lab components).

The Integrated Learning Manager is comprised of two major modules:

Integrated Learner Module

An individual learner is provided with a powerful, yet simple-to-use set of tools to access and manage all of their learning activities. This module is what a student experiences when they log in to the Integrated Learning Manager.

With the Integrated Learning Manager, a learner can:

  • Easily create a profile and personalize their home page
  • Request any instructor-led classes offered at any New Horizons center
  • Launch Online ANYTIME courses
  • Attend Online LIVEi classes on the Web
  • View their transcript
  • Access reference material
  • Take pre- and post-course assessments
  • View all learning progress across the learning methods
  • Collaborate with peers and experts
  • Access a worldwide catalog of courses

Integrated Administration Module

This provides all the tools needed by an administrator to rollout and administer integrated learning programs. The power and flexibility of this module means that any training program from the simplest to the most comprehensive can be easily and independently administered and controlled through a Web browser. This single point of access allows Training Administrators to concentrate fully on the success of their training programs by having all the tools and consolidated information at their fingertips.

With the Integrated Learning Manager, an administrator can:

  • Manage users
  • Assign content to users
  • Assign course assessments to students
  • Set up sub-organizations
  • Assign administration rights to individuals
  • Assign management rights to individuals
  • Load users into the system
  • Track and report on student learning activities
  • Customize home page
  • Create customized learning development plans for students

Assessments

The Integrated Learning Manager also provides an opportunity for organizations or individuals to assess the performance of basic tasks by selecting from more than 250 FREE assessment tests. The assessments, accessible inside the Integrated Learning Manager, cover popular courses in the categories of office productivity, design, media and graphics, and business skills.

Assessments provide a thorough and accurate way for individuals and organizations to identify strengths and weaknesses in basic applications proficiency, verify desktop application computing skills, and ensure proper placement within Level 1, 2 or 3 applications courses.
