Cancellations & Refunds
Classroom Learning Terms for Businesses
Cancellations and Transfers. You may transfer or cancel your registration more than ten (10) business days before the first day of class without charge. If you cancel or reschedule 10 business days or less before the first day of class (late cancellation), you will be charged for the class you were originally scheduled to attend. You may have another student attend in your place on the first day of class at no charge.
Rescheduling Registrations Cancelled Late
• Application Courses (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint): You may attend a future session within 6 months of the originally cancelled class at no additional charge on a "space available" basis.
• Technical Courses (e.g. Cisco, Citrix, VMware, PMP, Microsoft technical): Due to financial commitments and expenses incurred by New Horizons with our vendors and suppliers with late cancellations, there is a reschedule fee of 15% of the course list price to schedule a retake of a class cancelled late (10 business days or less). Lab fees may apply to some technical class retakes.
Class Retakes. If you attended your originally scheduled class, you make retake the same course (same revision) for up to six months at no cost. Lab access may need to be repurchased for some classes such as Cisco, Citrix and VMware. Students are responsible for bringing their original courseware to class. Please ask your account executive for additional details. If you are an individual and self-funding a program, consult your Program Enrollment Agreement for Cancellation policy terms. Consult your written training agreement or contact your Account Executive.
Evaluations. Every student will have an opportunity to provide a formal evaluation of the training engagement experience using the Metrics that Matter (MTM) evaluation tool.
Money-back Guarantee on Open Enrollment Classes. If you are not satisfied with the value of training received for your investment, notify us within 14 days of attendance in an open-enrollment class and we will promptly issue you a refund. We ask that you return any training materials received.
Online ANYTIME Cancellations and Refunds Policy
The Online ANYTIME refund and Cancellation Policy is: If the user has not initialized the program within 30 days of purchase, they will receive a full refund. If the user requests a refund within 72 hours after initializing the program, they will receive a full refund. If the user requests a refund after 72 hours but within 5 business days they can get a credit to apply to New Horizons Online LIVE or ILT. After 5 business days there is no refund. Once the OLA key is activated there will be no refund - similar to opened courseware.
