The Department of Defense (DoD) Military Spouse Career Advancement Accounts (MyCAA) program provides up to $6,000 of Financial Assistance for military spouses who are pursuing degree programs, licenses or credentials leading to employment in Portable Career Fields. New Horizons Knoxville can help you for MyCAA approved programs.

• Health Care (Medical Records and Health Information Technicians)
• Information Technology (Network and Data Communications Analysts, Database Administrator, Computer Support Specialist)

Who Is Eligible?

• Spouses of DoD Active Duty members
• Spouses of activated members of the National Guard and Reserve Components

What MyCAA Program Pays For

Education and training programs, tuition, and certification/credentialing fees (including course materials).

What Are Eligible Training Programs?

To be eligible, each student’s career training program must follow three criteria:

1. Must lead to a Portable Career (can be employed regardless of location)
2. Must result in a diploma, degree or professionally recognized certification
